Tata goes ‘gaga’ about the new SUV - Harrier

The home grown automobile giant - Tata Motors - went live with tit’s new SUV’s archietectural design, which is inspired from the 'OMEGARC' (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture) platform taken from Land Rover's D8 architecture.

The new SUV is named ‘Harrier’ which was commended as tata H5X was showcased at the 2018 Auto-Expo which was held in Greater Noida.

Hyundai Motor Group and Audi Partner in Fuel Cell Technology

Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) and AUDI AG (Audi) announced they have entered into a multi-year patent cross-licensing agreement, covering a broad range of fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) components and technologies. Under the new partnership, the world’s fifth-largest auto-making group and the German premium car maker will make joint efforts in developing FCEVs, to lead the automotive industry to a more sustainable future.

 

More SUVs expected from FIAT

Having tasted success with the mid-size premium JEEP North American SUV specialist Chrysler has confirmed its plan to launch a sub-4 metre SUV and a three row mid-size SUV in the Indian market to widen its consumer base.

The sub-4 metre SUV will take on the likes of Suzuki Vitara and Ford EcoSport, while the three row SUV will sit above the existing Jeep Compass and may take on Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor.
