Datsun, the Nissan owned automobile brand has announced the release date for its much awaited Redi GO. The company has announced it’s pricing to be between Rs.2.5 lakh for the base model and Rs. 3.5 lakh for the top end model.
This ‘Tall Boy’ design based car offers more head room for its passengers, has its signature hexagonal grills and a slanting bonnet. The top model also includes daytime running lights.
Datsun follows Renault’s footsteps and includes a 800cc three pot mill. It possesses a 5 speed transmission. The successors of the model are expected to come with an AMT version.
With a fuel capacity of almost 35 liters it claims to give a mileage of over 25 km per liter. For the suspension, the new set-up is said to be capable of offering a balance between handling, ride comfort and maneuverability, the company added.
The Datsun go is now available at the dealerships and will be available in 5 color options. It can have a tough time competing with other small segment cars like Maruti Alto, Hyundai Eon and its sibling Renault Kwid.
