Indian car market has a new sedan priced at Rs 37 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).This CBU is packed with conventional hybrid system that runs on dual output of petrol engine and two electric motors. The company claims that the car delivering a mileage of 23.1km/l.
The car is priced at Rs 6 lakh more than its rival, Toyota Camry Hybrid. Moreover the new Accord is included among luxury sedans like new Audi A4 and BMW 3 series.
As the car comes with exterior features like gloss black front bumper, chrome and black grille, daytime running lights and many more features. It comes in four body colour options - white orchid pearl, lunar silver metallic, modern steel metallic and crystal black peals.
The new Accord has some striking differences as compared to its rivals.The Honda’s ‘Earth Dream Technology’ is one such. It is a clever hybrid technology system that takes the car’s output to good power figures and helps maintain impressive fuel economy.
An 18-inch alloy wheels and all-LED taillamp are also present in sedan blind spot detection, that uses a camera mounted underneath the left ORVM which turns on automatically as soon as you indicate left. It will be interesting to see how the Indian market reacts to the price tag!
